Biography
I am a Moscow-born photographer living in Boston, MA. Since my move to the U.S. in 1991, my camera has been an almost always present companion. I started with a simple Soviet-made manual camera, a shared passion with my father, from whom I learned the magic of emergence of images from the nothingness in a bathroom-turned-darkroom.
My Work
My art is the pursuit of unnoticed beauty, a relentless effort to frame the world's quiet magnificence. I seek to create images that tell stories of life's fleeting moments and the power of nature and humanity.
I draw inspiration from the world's natural grace, the beauty of my friends, and the profound narratives that unfold around us daily. Photography for me is a dialogue with the world - a chance to elevate the ordinary into the extraordinary.
